What is an Eclipse?

The word eclipse comes from the Greek “eclipses,” which means ” abandonment or disappearance, “but the use of the concept does not refer to the disappearance, but the temporary concealment, either total or partial, of a start by the interposition of another body in the optical path. Working groups, projects, and members can share their news and events with the Eclipse Foundation community by submitting the particulars in our news studio.

The Eclipse newsroom is a content management scheme that allows us to post and distribute news and events to eclipse.org and working group sites. Anybody with an Eclipse account can submit information (articles, blogs, press releases) or an occasion (conference, webinar) that they think would be relevant to our community. Please submit your news/event details, and a Foundation staff member will review them. Once approved, the news and proceedings will be displayed on eclipse.org and the relevant working group sites. And also, We also share these submissions through our social media channels and newsletters when appropriate.

Eclipse Foundation Events

Events offer an opportunity for public members to demonstrate thought leadership by sharing best practices while building and driving engagement in our ecosystem. Collaborating with our community and working groups, the Foundation plans, coordinates, implements, and promotes conferences, events, and webinars.

The Eclipse Foundation has successfully industrialized strong press relationships, frequently reporting community-related news. Media interest in the Eclipse network is also growing as the number of projects, working groups, and members grow. Creative Services of Eclipse Marketing

The Eclipse Foundation publishes an associate case study series highlighting how organizations of all sizes leverage their strategic involvement in our bionetwork to fuel market achievement.
